[origin: EP0674949A1] The coater is carried by a carriage (6) on a beam (5) which can be mounted above the work. The carriage carries spray nozzles (7,8) and is formed by two parallel sections (20,21) for most of its length. A gap (22) between the sections enables the carriage to move along between them. An air current (F) may be supplied within the spray booth, passing down through the gap. The carriage may be driven along the beam by belts (27,28), above the nozzles, which may be carried on an extension (11) towards the work. The nozzles may be fixed on arms (12), carried on the extension by a bearing (13), enabling the arms to pivot. <IMAGE>
