Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0675007A1] A number of identification strips are attachable to each document, each strip being divided into a series of consecutive surfaces. The surfaces have areas for attachment of differently-coloured indicators (7,8), which may be located at positions along the length of the document in relation to an indicator surface on a document support. The coloured indicators consist of small clips which engage in selected ones of a series of perforations (4) spaced at regular intervals along the edge of the document. The perforations are separated into different zones which may be used to indicate different levels of informational coding, in correspondence to an accompanying chart or cards indicating the significance of colours etc. used in the coding. <IMAGE>
