Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0675061A1] A revolving conveyor belt (10) connected to the drive (18) and supporting the products (34) is guided at least approximately at the delivery point (12) around a locally fixed guide roller (16). The conveying supporting side (22) of the belt loops round under a guide pulley (24) displaced towards the guide roller and with its highest point (24'') higher than the guide roller (16) to form a conveyor gap (32) for the products which are set in a cascade formation (36). With this formation each product (34), seen in the incoming supply direction (Z) rests on each advancing product with a pref. complete overlap with their trailing edge (38) adjoining the conveyor belt. A support element (42) can be mounted at the delivery point (12) whereby the products coming from the belt come to rest on the element to form an inclined stack (40). The guide pulley can be mounted on a spring-loaded lever (26) mounted underneath the conveying supporting side (22). <IMAGE>
