The device has a conveyor (10) for transporting the banknotes along a transport path (21) containing a checking device (30), for checking the validity and identifying the classification of the banknotes, using several criteria. The checking device controls a deflector (50), deflecting the banknotes from the transport path to the correct stacking location. The stacking device (41) lies at a given angle to the transport path, with the banknotes received from the deflector fed to the stacking device via a guide (60), ensuring that they are received by the stacking device in the correct orientation. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Banknotenbearbeitungsmaschine, wobei die in der Transportstrecke befindlichen Banknoten, nachdem sie geprüft und klassifiziert worden sind, mittels entsprechend gesteuerter Weichen aus der Transportstrecke herausgeschleust werden. Durch an die Weichen sich anschließende Umlenkeinrichtungen, die eine Drehung und Änderung der Bewegungsrichtung der Blätter bewirken, werden die Banknoten den Stapelfächern der Stapeleinheiten der Banknotenbearbeitungsmaschine zugeführt. Vorzugsweise sind die Eintrittsöffnungen der Stapelfächer senkrecht zur Transportrichtung ausgerichtet. <IMAGE>
