Abstract (en)
A press appts. for strip-shaped material, esp. for the smoothing of a paper web has a pressure gap, which is formed between a pref. heated roller and a pressure shoe covered, as the case requires, by a closed running belt. The shoe has a concave pressure surface to fit the roller curvature and by means of a loading appts exerts pressure on the roller. Here the loading appts. has at least two loading elements set in the roller circumferential direction, the force of each element being adjustable. <IMAGE>

Eine Preßvorrichtung für bahnförmiges Material, insbesondere zum Glätten einer Papierbahn, weist einen Preßspalt (9) zwischen einer Walze (1) und einem Druckschuh (5) auf. Dieser wird durch mindestens zwei in Umfangsrichtung der Walze (1) versetzte Belastungselemente (11, 12) belastet, deren Belastungskräfte je für sich einstellbar sind. Auf diese Weise kann man über die Breite des Preßspalts (9) ein Druckspannungsprofil nach Wunsch einstellen. <IMAGE>
