Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0675237A2] The gutter is made in sections, each with a base (17) and two vertical walls (3, 4), each covered by a metal layer (9, 9') at the top which provides protection for the edges and/or a support for a covering grille (2). The concrete reinforcement is provided by metal elements (42) which are fixed to the upper layers (9, 9') by dowels (34) and fixing screws (13) which pass through and retain the grille, and/or other elements which are welded to opposite sides of a top metal layer. The reinforcing elements are U-shaped and made to correspond to the shape of the concrete gutter section. For certain uses, eg. inside buildings, the metal layers and grille can be coated with a plastic (PVDF), making them easier to clean with a jet of water.
