[origin: EP0675252A1] The guide is designed to be fitted to sliding doors (TB) or windows, which can slide in a first guide, and which also have an additional guide (BF) which is in contact with the ground or a side wall. The additional guide contains at least one elastic element which can transmit force directly, or via other means (KE). The element presses against an associated side of the door in order to hold it without any free play. This can also be against the sides (NS1,NS2) of a U- or V-shaped groove (FN) facing towards the additional guide. <IMAGE>
