Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0675323A1] The incinerator consists of a furnace (4) with a feed hopper (2) through which the objects to be burned drop by gravity. The lower part (2c) of the hopper is angled and equipped with an adjustable mechanical deflector (10) to control the trajectory of objects dropping into the furnace, and its bottom edge (3) is situated at a distance above the furnace bed (14) at least as great as the largest dimension of the objects being incinerated. The furnace bed (14) is in the form of a grating with horizontal (14) and sloping (15) sections, each made up of a series of bars (15, 15'). The bars in the first section are inclined upwards, with their upper ends forming a horizontal surface, and those in the second section are set horizontally and stepped to form the sloping surface. The furnace is fed with primary air through a pipe (19) beneath the grating, and with secondary air and recycled gases through nozzles in its side walls. <IMAGE>

La présente invention concerne un système d'injection d'air dans un foyer ou une chambre de combustion. Le système de l'invention comporte dans au moins l'une (5) des parois latérales du foyer, un dispositif échangeur de chaleur constitué de faisceaux de tubes (28, 28') sensiblement parallèles et parcourus par un agent caloporteur, à travers lequel dispositif sont prévues des buses (21) de projection d'air ou de gaz de combustion recyclés. L'invention s'applique notamment à des installations d'incinération de biomasse ou de déchets industriels. <IMAGE>
