Abstract (en)

The projectile, esp. a bullet, consists of a case (1) with an inner cavity (6) containing an active product (8) such as an irritant fluid, a powder or a dye, which is released on impact. It has a propellant element (5) and can have a recess shaped to form a braking surface lying perpendicular to the direction of the bullet's trajectory. The case can also have rupture lines so that it bursts more easily on impact to disperse the product inside. <IMAGE>

Projectile, notamment balle, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend un corps (1) comportant un logement (6) de réception contenant un produit actif (8) sur l'organisme d'une cible vivante et des moyens permettant la libération de ce produit lors de l'impact du projectile sur sa cible, le corps (1) du projectile comportant un moteur (5) de propulsion ainsi que, sur sa longueur, une portion de plus faible diamètre (30) suivie d'un épaulement formant un plan (32) de freinage perpendiculaire à la direction de déplacement du projectile. Application aux balles destinées à mettre hors de combat un adversaire sans risque de blessure mortelle. <IMAGE>
