[origin: EP0675515A2] The switch has a movable switch component (40) within the switch housing (20), supporting the switch contact (42) and an operating element (60) for operation of the switch. An associated printed circuit board (86) carries a light source (94), for rear illumination of the operating element. The printed circuit board is formed as a pre-assembled module with an associated holder (80), which pref. has a frame with a base (88) and a cover (93), joined together by opposing sides (82) with guides (84) in their inside faces for receiving the circuit board edges. <IMAGE>
