[origin: WO9415131A1] The invention relates to a connector for use in a pipe coupling system, comprising a body characterized by at least two integral parts (2, 3, 40, 50) which define a toroidal seating for an inner pipe of the pipe coupling system, whereby on appliance of axial pressure the parts (2, 3, 40, 50) move relatively to reduce the diameter of the seating (4, 30).
