Abstract (en)
A system for picking up vehicles in tower garages comprises a horizontally mobile frame (3) that supports two pairs of jaws (6) on each of two opposite sides. Said jaws can be operated with a rotary translational movement in the plane of the frame (3), so that they come out from the frame (3) and translate parallel to said sides, the frame (3) being shaped so that it can be positioned beneath any vehicle and between the wheels thereof the jaws (6) serving to grip the wheels of the vehicle. <IMAGE>
