The intermediate layer (3) consists of at least one woven, synthetic fibre strip (4, 5) made of polyamide. A metal plate (10) is fixed to the strip(s) near the folded-over sections (6, 7) near the clasps. At least one pin (11) protrudes from the metal plate and pierces the folded-over section of the watch-strap and is riveted to it. the plate and the pin(s) are made of non-corrosive metal. <IMAGE>

Uhrband, das zwei Lederschichten aufweist und bei dem umgeschlagene Abschnitte, z.B. im Bereich von Schnallenteilen, Nietverbindungen vorgesehen sind. Um die mechanische Festigkeit des Uhrbandes zu erhöhen, ist vorgesehen, daß zwischen den beiden Lederschichten (1, 2) eine Schichte (3) aus mindestens einem gewebten Streifen (4, 5) aus Kunstfaser, vorzugsweise Polyamid oder Polyaramid, eingelegt und mit den Lederschichten (1, 2) verbunden ist. <IMAGE>
