[origin: EP0677256A1] The intermediate layer (3) consists of at least one woven, synthetic fibre strip (4, 5) made of polyamide. A metal plate (10) is fixed to the strip(s) near the folded-over sections (6, 7) near the clasps. At least one pin (11) protrudes from the metal plate and pierces the folded-over section of the watch-strap and is riveted to it. the plate and the pin(s) are made of non-corrosive metal. <IMAGE>
