[origin: EP0677458A1] The opener has an actuating component (12) which acts upon a horizontally disposed swivel shaft (11) via a control lever (50). A component for operating the cover latches (7) is freely rotatable on the swivel shaft. The actuating component has at least one catch (30) and a locking element which interacts with the control lever depending upon the position of the swivel shaft for fixing the swivel range of the cover latch operating component. <IMAGE>
