[origin: EP0677631A1] The fastening control comprises a collar in which either a drive nut for the force application of an operating handle (34) or on which the drive nut of the operating handle is rotatably supported. The drive nut has a recess (22) to accept the endpiece (23) of a shaft (24). The free end of the shaft serves as an engagement piece for a rotating coupling of the drive element of the fastening device. The shaft has a polygonal cross section. The end piece and the swing bearing head piece of the shaft have the same cross-sectional shape and size as the length of shaft between the peripherally narrower parts. The peripherally narrower parts to the end piece and swing bearing head piece are each defined by a steep pyramid surface, and by a flat conical surface to the shaft middle. <IMAGE>
