[origin: WO9416052A1] A particulate high bulk density detergent composition is provided having improved dissolution characteristics and comprising a surfactant system including one or more anionic and/or nonionic surfactants, at least one detergency builder and a dissolution aid. The dissolution aid is present in an amount from 0.01 to 2 % by weight as calculated on the composition and comprises a nonionic surfactant which is an alkoxylated aliphatic alcohol containing at least 25 alkylene oxide groups.
