The suction regulation uses a controlled semiconductor switch (2), in series with the vacuum cleaner fan motor (1) and an associated control circuit, containing a comparator (28) for comparing an adjustable control signal and periodically varying signal, to provide the control pulses for the semiconductor switch. The control signal for the control circuit is manually adjusted to a required value and/or is switched between 2 different values via a pressure switch (40), the comparator receiving the control signal pref provided by an operational amplifier, receiving a sawtooth voltage synchronised with the supply voltage for the fan motor at its second input. <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Schaltungsanordnung zur Saugleistungsregelung eines Staubsaugers, dessen Gebläsemotor (1) ein mittels einer Ansteuerschaltung steuerbares Halbleiterschaltelement (2) zugeordnet ist, welche Ansteuerschaltung einen Vergleicher (28) enthält, dem ein periodisch veränderbares Signal und ein einstellbares Steuersignal zugeführt ist und aus dessen Ausgangssignal die Steuerimpulse für das Halbleiterschaltelement (2) gebildet sind, bei welcher Schaltungs-anordnung das Steuersignal für die Ansteuerschaltung wahlweise von Hand jeweils auf einen bestimmten Wert einstellbar oder mittels eines Druckschalters (40) zwischen zwei vorgegebenen, unterschiedlichen Werten umschaltbar ist.Eine solche Schaltungsanordnung kommt mit nur einem Druckschalter aus. <IMAGE>
