Abstract (en)
The clamp consists of a control mechanism (27) with a vertical keel (22) lying parallel to the cable and offset to one side of it, and two jaws (25,26) carried on a horizontal branch (24) at the bottom of the keel. One of the jaws is able to slide relative to the other to grip or release the traction cable and is actuated by a rigid rod (29) mounted on the keel so it can rotate and is equipped with levers (30,31) at its lower and upper ends. The lower lever is connected to the moving jaw by sliders (28), and the upper one to a control cylinder rod (40) by a pair of pivoted and spring-loaded arms (33). <IMAGE>

Un véhicule d'une installation de transport à câble tracteur 11 est équipé d'une pince débrayable 21 fixée en-dessous du véhicule. Le mors mobile 26 de la pince est agencé en coulisseau 28, dont le déplacement est commandé par la rotation d'une tige rigide verticale 29, dont l'extrémité opposée coopère avec le mécanisme de commande 27. Ce mécanisme comporte une genouillère 34 avec des leviers télescopiques 33,35 à ressorts 38. <IMAGE>
