Abstract (en)
The procedure delivers the load to a wrapping position by a conveyor (1). A sleeve (4) is placed over the load to cover at least two of its side faces and so that the lower end of the sleeve projects below the level of the pallet. The pallet is lifted above the conveyor and the projecting end of the sleeve is fixed under it by thermo-shrinking, after which the remainder of the sleeve is heated to shrink it onto the load. During the stage in which the lower end of the sleeve is thermo-shrunk under the pallet the remainder of the sleeve is held against the load without mechanical contact, preferably by blowing cold air onto it through a hollow bar with nozzles. In addition, the lower end of the sleeve is cooled after thermo-shrinking and before replacement on the conveyor to prevent deterioration. <IMAGE>

La présente invention se rapporte à un procédé d'emballage d'une charge par chauffage d'une housse ou gaine thermorétractable et à une machine d'emballage automatique par chauffage d'une housse ou gaine thermorétractable. Selon l'invention, l'on assure, de préférence, par soufflage le maintien sous la palette du bord inférieur de la gaine pendant son accrochage et antérieurement à la rétraction de la gaine au niveau de la charge. La présente invention s'applique principalement au suremballage des charges palettisées. <IMAGE>
