[origin: EP0678629A1] The build-up device is for the support of staged walls of a ditch, and comprises paired opposing vertical supports (1,2) arranged at equal distances along the ditch, with bracing devices holding the supports of a pair spaced apart. Large surfaced outer and upper build-up plates (4) are provided, the edges of which are vertically displaceable in guide channels (3) of the supports. Also, large surfaced inner and lower build-up plates (5) are provided, the edges of which are vertically displaceable in guide channels of the supports. Instead of an outer and upper build-up plate in the guide channels of the supports an upper board chamber plate (14) is insertable, in which adjacent channel boards (12) are insertable and vertically displaceable. <IMAGE>
