Abstract (en)
The regulator consists of a regulating and re-charging element (5,7) comprising a tube (5) with a lower U-shaped end (6) which is full of water and is submerged in the reservoir. The upper end fits inside a bell (7) which has both ends closed and a perforated wall (8) close to the submersion point of tube. The tube is also connected to a regulating duct (9) with a hook-shaped upper end, the tip of which lies below the level of the top of the tube. The regulating/re-charging element is fixed to the top of the siphon, and its perforated wall section lies on a level with the top of the siphon's hook-shaped outlet end. <IMAGE>

Dans ce dispositif pour assurer la régulation du fonctionnement d'un drain-siphon, dont les extrémités amont (32) et avale plongent en permanence dans un réservoir permanent de liquide, et notamment d'eau, respectivement (1), l'une des extrémités dudit siphon est munie d'un organe de régulation et de réamorçage (5, 7) destiné à stopper le drainage lorsque le débit d'écoulement atteint un seuil minimal dénommé "débit critique", ledit organe étant en outre destiné à réamorcer le siphon par effet de chasse, lorsque le drainage a été interrompu. <IMAGE>
