Abstract (en)
The structural component is for sound absorption and takes the form of a plate or similar perforated structure. The plate (2) is made of foam glass and has at least one surface with profiles (3,4). These profiles are formed as elongated channels (4). There may be cross-bores (3) which are made inclined, formed as blind bores, penetrate the plate completely, or are conical. The plate has a density of 100 to 200 kg/n3 and has a front and/or back coating. <IMAGE>

Ein Bauelement zur Schalldämpfung in Form einer Platte oder dgl., soll nicht brennend, umweltverträglich, nicht gesundheitsschädigend und leicht recycelbar bzw. entsorgbar sowie leicht herstellbar sein. Dies wird dadurch erreicht, daß die Platte (2) aus Schaumglas besteht und wenigstens eine Plattenoberfläche mit Profilierungen (3,4) versehen ist. <IMAGE>
