[origin: DE4410288C1] When the valve is closed, the second lever (8) supports itself on the first lever (2) via a first adjustable stop (22); the first lever supports itself on a stationary surface via a second adjustable stop (26). A hydraulic tappet clearance compensation device is located between the first lever and the valve (1). The first lever is U-shaped, and is held with its legs (3) on a pivot shaft (5). The second lever is located on the same shaft between the legs of the first lever. Each leg is associated with a valve, and has a compensation device. The first lever also acts with a cam of the cam shaft.
