[origin: EP0678839A1] The circuit has at least 2 local transmission units (2), for reception and coding of local measuring signals and transmission of the coded measuring signals to a central device (1). Each local transmission unit has a comparator (12), for comparison of the local measuring signal with a reference value, coupled to a trigger (13) for generating a binary signal transmitted to the central device. A multiplex channel generator (4) at the central device addresses each local transmission unit, for varying the reference value used by the latter via a transmitted command signal and for receiving the binary signal transmitted by each local transmission unit. <IMAGE>
