Abstract (en)
The traffic information system operates with a central computer (ZR) that allows input of required destinations (1, 2) and also actual locations (3, 4) via the telephone network. Connections to the system by intending users can also be made directly (5) and this can indicate times of journey. Separate memory areas in the central computer system can be accessed by different users. Mobile telephone systems (MFI) may communicate via a base station. Traffic condition data can be displayed using access terminals (VB, KCI) located in houses, stores, restaurants, etc. <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verkehrsinformationssystem mit mindestens einer zentralen elektronischen Recheneinheit (ZR), die über Soll- und Istwertquellen (1,2,3) für liniengebundene Verkehrsmittel verfügt und elektrisch oder funktechnisch zur Datenübertragung gekoppelt ist mit Abfrageeinheiten (F,E,MF,VB, KC1), die sich vorzugsweise am Aufenthalts/Tätigkeitsort des künftigen Benutzers des Verkehrsmittels befinden. Erfindungsgemäß werden unterschiedliche Möglichkeiten des Zugriffs des künftigen Benutzers eines liniengebundenen Verkehrsmittels auf die zentrale Recheneinheit aufgezeigt u.a mittels Fernsprechapparaten (F,MF), Videotextanzeigen (VB), Personalcomputern (KC1). Die Erfindung sieht auch eine Mehrfachnutzung des vorhandenen Mobilfunknetzes als Abfrageeinheit vor. <IMAGE>
