Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0678883A1] The small electrical switch has a main housing (2) in which is mounted contact rails (32-34), each with projections for engagement by a plug. The rails are formed with parallel contact sections that are positioned directly beneath a sliding contact assembly (1). This has a sliding carriage (6) mounted on a guide rod (4). The carriage has a contact plate with projecting spring fingers (12-14) that engage the rails. <IMAGE>
