[origin: EP0679479A1] The hand tool consists of several reciprocating needles. The needle clamping cage (12) holding the tool is accommodated inside the housing (1), and is freely adjustable between an anvil (17) and stop shoulder (15b). The stop shoulder is fitted to the housing and is part of a compression spring (16). The stop shoulder serves as a guide sleeve (14) for the needle cage (12) and is located between the anvil and spring. The stop shoulder is formed by a base (15) with an opening (15a) on the end area of the sleeve facing away from the anvil. <IMAGE>
