Abstract (en)
The carrier or support roller has: (a) hollow cylindrical carrier mantle (1) pref. of steel, and (b) an outer coating (3) on the mantle surface. The coating (3) has a thickness of 5-12 mm, and pref. 6-8 mm. The coating (3) is of a low-wear elastomer and especially a nitrile or polyurethane rubber with a hardness of 65-80 Shore A and pref. 70-74 Shore A. An elastomer layer can be inserted between the roller mantle (1) and outer coating (3). <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Eine Trag- oder Stützwalze für eine Wickelmaschine zum Aufwickeln von Papier- oder Kartonbahnen besteht nach der Erfindung aus einem hohlzylinderförmigen Tragmantel (1) aus einem festen Material, insbesondere aus Stahl, auf dessen äußere Mantelfläche eine Beschichtung (3) aufgebracht ist. Die Beschichtung (3) weist eine Dicke von 5 mm bis 12 mm, vorzugsweise 6 mm bis 8 mm, auf, sie besteht aus einem verschleißarmen Elastomer, insbesondere aus Nitril- oder Polyurethan-Kautschuk, und ihre nach Shore A gemessene Härte beträgt 65 bis 80, bevorzugt 70 bis 74. Eine derartige Trag- oder Stützwalze ermöglicht bei hohen Produktionsgeschwindigkeiten ein papierschonenderes Aufwickeln. <IMAGE>
