Abstract (en)
The corner of the fixed frame (10) for the door or window is fitted with a baseplate which has hinge points at one edge and with a locking profile catch on the other section. A locking plate (13) is hinged onto the baseplate and has a slider-operated catch to lock over the fixed ratchet catch when pressed down onto the fitting. A security key secures the slider on the locked position. The locking plate is unlocked and swung up in one simple action to free the door or window. The key unlocks the catch and moves the slider in one simple action allowing a singlehanded operation. An integral spring holds the slider in the locking position and secures the catch when released. <IMAGE>

Sicherung für Fenster oder Türen, mit einer am Blendrahmen (10) zu befestigenden Konsole, mit einer den Flügelrahmen (12) übergreifenden Riegelplatte (13), mit plattenseitigen und konsolenseitigen Kupplungs- und Gegenkupplungsmitteln für eine blendrahmenseitige Befestigung der Riegelplatte (13), die mit einem schlüsselbetätigbaren Schließelement (14) versehen ist, das die blendrahmenseitige Befestigung der Riegelplatte (13) sperrt oder freigibt. Um eine Sicherung mit den eingangs genannten Merkmalen so zu verbessern, daß die Riegelplatte (13) verschwenkt bzw. bewegt werden kann, ohne daß dazu eine bei jedem Stellungswechsel hin- und hergehende Bewegung der Riegelplatte (13) erforderlich ist, wobei die Sicherung insbesondere als Fensterecksicherung eingesetzt werden kann, wird sie so ausgebildet, daß das schlüsselbetätigbare Schließelement (14) die plattenseitigen Kupplungsmittel zumindest für die Freigabe der Befestigung der Riegelplatte (13) anzutreiben vermag. <IMAGE>
