[origin: EP0679861A1] Equipment for firing a wire-guided munition from a mobile launcher comprises a launching tube (14) for mounting on the launcher, a munition (16) normally located in the tube and a connection wire (18) which unwinds from a first spool (20) joined to the munition and from a second spool (22) joined to the tube. The novelty is that the launching tube (14) has a normally closed front opening (24) and the second spool (22) is normally mounted in the tube, between the munition (16) and the front opening (24), by a mechanism (36,38) which can swing the second spool out of the tube before the munition is fired. <IMAGE>
