The first binding element has two parallel side jaws (7') spaced apart by the width of the boot's sole and at right angles to the surface of the snow-board. Each side-jaw has an opening (8) in for a pin. The side jaws of the second binding element have surfaces (10) sloping down towards the front bracket (4). The boot has protuberances (11) staggered towards the boot's toe and spaced apart from the pins. <IMAGE>
