Abstract (en)
An apparatus (10) for dissolving gas in a liquid comprises a duct (12) for the passage of liquid therethrough, a gas supply (14) for introducing gas into said liquid and an ultrasound generator (20) for generating ultrasound which is then used to produce "sonically induced cavitation" of any bubbles thereby to split said bubbles into smaller bubbles more easily dissolved in the liquid. <IMAGE>
