The rocker lever (1) has a higher strength cast iron produced by die casting in the area of the cam run-out surface (5) and has a greater hardness than the spherical cast areas of the rocker lever axis (2) and the cylindrical accommodation (6), which are cast into the rocker lever. The thickness of the walling of the mounting corresponds to approx. a third of the radius of the cylindrical mounting of the rocker lever.
