Abstract (en)
The suction/gauge unit consists of a base for fixing to one wall of the fuel tank, equipped with a suction assembly (200) with a reserve chamber (210), and a gauge assembly (300) which can slide vertically on the reserve chamber and is held elastically towards the bottom of the fuel tank. The base of the reserve chamber has a strainer which is deformable with an amplitude at least as great as that of the bottom wall of the fuel tank, against which it is held by an elastic element such as a spiral spring or moulded claw. The gauge assembly fits into a recess in the outer surface of the reserve chamber, which has a vertical slider (260) formed by a rectangular groove with converging edges and equipped with flexible teeth at one end to prevent spontaneous withdrawal of the gauge assembly. It also has a central housing (310), a lower foot (370) and an upper barrel (350). <IMAGE>
