[origin: EP0681142A2] The burner has a transition, between a feeder pipe and a concentric pipe, which contains a flow guide plate (S) running across the plane formed by the centre axis (X) of the annular burner and the centre axis (Y) of the feeder pipe. The flow guide plate divides the feeder pipe into two ducts and partly closes the annular duct between the core pipe (A) and the concentric pipe, enclosing it and/or the annular duct between an inner concentric pipe and a concentric pipe enclosing it. <IMAGE>
