[origin: WO9416981A2] A device for collecting leaves (3) and forming stacks (6) of leaves from individual leaves (3) brought to a stop (26) is disclosed, as well as a device (28) for carrying away the thus formed stack (6). In order to ensure a reliable removal of the stack of leaves (6), a movable stop (26) and a driven roller arrangement (29, 30, 31) are adjustably mounted at the stack of leaves (6). Special flexible conveyor means (8, 11) carry the leaves (3) along a transport path (7) and over a deflector (16) onto the stack of leaves (6). Both steps may be combined or applied isolately.
