[origin: WO9514821A1] According to the proposed method of laying paving stones, paving stones (3) which are stacked are picked up by the laying device (1) by means of a grab (4) in a grabbing motion, lifted, conveyed to the laying site and deposited. Also disclosed is an associated laying device (1). The method and device simplify the operational process, improve the speed of the process and reduce errors by the incorporation of a sensor (13) to trigger the grabbing motion when the grab (4) is in position.
