the closure comprises a load bearing frame (14) on which an insertion path for an insert tongue (10) is formed. A securing cam (16) is slidably fitted transverse to the insertion path. A release key (26) is slidably fitted on the frame and engages on the securing cam during operation and moves it in a guide (24) transverse to the insertion path. A bolt (32) is slidably fitted parallel to the operating direction of the release key and is loaded by a spring (36) in a rest position. The bolt responds to acceleration in the operating direction of the release key and is movable by its mass inertia into a blocking position in which it extends into the guide (24) of the securing cam and blocks it in its closure position. <IMAGE>

Der Verschluß für Sicherheitsgurte basiert auf der bewährten Rastnocken-Bauform und ist mit einfachen Maßnahmen strafferfest ausgerüstet. Der Rastnocken (16) wird in seiner Schließstellung durch einen stiftförmigen Riegel (32) gesichert, der durch eine Druckfeder (36) in eine Ruhestellung vorbelastet ist und ansprechend auf hohe Beschleunigung des Verschlusses durch seine Massenträgheit in eine Sperrstellung verschoben wird, in welcher er in den Führungskanal (24) des Rastnockens (16) hineinragt. <IMAGE>
