[origin: EP0681856A2] Braking device, particularly for skates including a shoe (2) composed of a quarter articulated to a shell (3) which is in turn associated with a frame (6), wheels (8) being pivoted thereto. The device is constituted by an elastic support (10) having two essentially L-shaped arms (11a) that can be pivoted to the shell or to the frame. The elastic support is slidingly associated with the quarter at one end and a brake (16) is associated with the arms. <IMAGE>
