Abstract (en)
The nozzle consists of a body (7) bounded by a thrust surface (8) and a fixing surface, and has an aperture (10) to receive a valve. The aperture is also connected to a feed pipe (12) for injecting a cooling fluid, while the valve is designed to hold the body of the nozzle by its thrust surface (8) against the periphery of a fluid feed orifice in the engine crankcase wall. The body of the nozzle is made by assembling a cylindrical ring (22) which is centred and locked by a transverse plate (23). The plate has a circular aperture (24) designed to receive a matching circular projection (25), or else the two components can be welded together. The thickness of the plate is less than the height of the ring's projection, so that the edge of the ring projects above the plate for fastening to the crankcase. <IMAGE>

Le gicleur selon l'invention comprend un corps de gicleur (7) réalisé par assemblage solidaire d'une bague (22) généralement cylindrique comportant un perçage axial (10) et un perçage transversal (11) et d'une plaque transversale (23) comprenant une surface périphérique (30) conformée pour s'adapter sur des faces correspondantes de la paroi de carter de cylindre sur laquelle est fixé le corps de gicleur (7). Le corps de gicleur (7) est fixé par une vis-clapet. Un tube cintré (12) forme conduit d'injection de sortie de fluide de refroidissement, sa première extrémité (19) étant rapportée dans le perçage transversal (11) de la bague (22). Le corps de gicleur (7) est ainsi réalisé à moindre coût, et permet de projeter un jet de fluide de refroidissement précis et concentré sur le fond d'un piston d'un moteur à combustion interne. <IMAGE>
