[origin: EP0682221A2] The air cleaning system has the air stream used for treatment of the textile web fed through an endless filter mesh (6) at the input side of the ventilator fan, with the fibres etc. captured by the filter mesh periodically removed by a suction jet device (11). Pref. the soiling level of the filter mesh surface is monitored, to activate the suction jet device for removing the deposits on the outside of the filter mesh, when the detected soiling level reaches a threshold value.
