[origin: EP0682886A1] At least part of the profiled tread blocks (14) on the sole are laminated. The laminations are divided from each other by cuts crosswise to the direction of stress applied to the sole and depending on the terrain. The height of the laminations corresponds to the height of the profiled blocks and their width corresponds to a fraction of the height of the lamination. The profiled blocks have gaps crosswise to the lengthwise direction of the laminations. The laminations are formed by incisions (22) in the profiled blocks and end alternately on the rim of the sole of the shoe or spaced apart from the rim (20) of the sole. <IMAGE>
