Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0682932A2] The hydromassage unit has a nozzle (4) that is larger than a cone-shaped discharge channel (14). In the absence of additional influences, the jet issues in a central position. Deflection of the jet is generated by the introduction of control flow at right angle (13) to the jet to produce the massaging effect. The flow can be pulsed by the operation of a valve. Control jets on opposite sides produce a bistable action. <IMAGE>
