Abstract (en)
The device includes a stand (3) with a horizontal branch (4) at the top with a cable suspended from the end. The cable is mounted so it can rotate, and carries a golf ball on the lower end. A number of sensors within the stand detect the speed and angle at which the ball is struck by the golf club during a practice shot. From this, the distance travelled by the ball can be determined, for comparison with the reference trajectory which was intended. The mounting of the ball allows movement towards or away from the stand, as well as in the direction of swing. <IMAGE>

Dispositif d'entraînement (1) pour golfeurs destiné à mesurer et analyser la frappe d'une balle (2). Le dispositif (1) est du type constitué d'une potence (3) dont la branche horizontale (4) est équipée d'un câble suspendu de manière rotative et à l'extrémité duquel est fixée et suspendue la balle de golf (2) au niveau du sol. Un moyen de liaison assure la liaison entre l'extrémité supérieure du câble et un axe principal mobile en rotation et en translation ledit moyen de liaison transmet de manière proportionnelle à l'axe principal mobile la vitesse de rotation de la balle (2) autour dudit axe et son angle de tir et un ou plusieurs capteurs transmettent des données à des moyens qui analysent la vitesse de rotation de l'axe pour déterminer la distance du tir et le déplacement transversal dudit axe mobile pour déterminer la distance entre le point de chute de la balle (2) et la trajectoire de référence (46). Cet appareil permet l'entraînement des golfeurs dans un espace restreint. <IMAGE>
