[origin: EP0683276A2] The device has a first key which releases the total amount of water in the cistern (18) and a second key which releases only a part of the total water amount. Both keys are connected to a closure unit (2) which is raised on flushing and in the cistern is arranged a cup-shaped hollow body (8), which in the case of a part flushing is raised as an additional wt. with the closure unit. The hollow body with both a full flushing and a part flushing is raised with the closure unit. In the case of a full flushing the hollow body is opened by an opener so that the water contained in it at least partly flows outwards, when the closure unit is raised with the hollow body. <IMAGE>
