Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0683277A2] The separator has an upper entry shaft and lateral opposing inlet and outlet apertures. The basin comprises a monolithic, i.e. one-piece produced, lower part on which are applied shaft cones and/or cover plates and/or shaft rings. The vol. of the basin is enlarged by the introduction between the lower part (2') and the applied parts of cylindrical and/or conical rings (22) also of concrete reinforced against cracks. The joints then located under the water line between the lower part and the rings are permanently elastically sealed and rigidly bridged over. <IMAGE>
