[origin: WO9413242A2] A urinal for women including a receptacle (7) with a chamber, a surface provided with a hole (3) through which urine is delivered into the receptacle (7), and a guiding and supporting portion (21) for positioning the urinal when in use. Said guiding portion (21) forms at least one support for part of a user's nates and an edge shaped to fit part of the back of her thighs so that when the user is seated on a support, said portion (21) is located between the support and the user's nates, and part of the back of her thighs is supported by an edge of said portion (21), whereby the urinal may be correctly and painlessly positioned.
