The container has a base (2), a front and a back wall, foldable side walls and a lid. The base, in the area of the side walls has an arm (21) which is arranged vertical to the plane of the base. The arm protrudes all around vertically from the base to a height double the thickness of the folding side walls and the single thickness of the front and back walls. The arm has notches (24) spaced apart near the side walls and front wall and into which fit matching protuberances (43) from the plane (13) of the bottom cross-sectional surface of the side walls and front wall. The notches are cross-sectional recesses in the free edge of the arm.

Die Erfindung betrifft einen faltbaren Verpackungsbehälter. Dieser Behälter besitzt einen Boden, eine Vorder- und eine Rückwand, einfaltbare Seitenwände und einen Deckel. Der Boden, die Seitenwände und der Deckel sind mit der Rückwand gelenkig verbunden. Der Boden weist ferner im Bereich der Seitenwände einen senkrecht von der Bodenebene abragenden Steg auf, der ein Aufnahmevolumen begrenzt, daß die Vorder- und die Rückwand versenkbar sind. Im versenkten Zustand sind Vorder- und Rückwand durch die Seitenwände und den Deckel abgedeckt. Die Erfindung wird darin gesehen, daß der Steg (21) umlaufend in einer Höhe senkrecht vom Boden (2) absteht, die der doppelten Wanddicke der faltbaren Seitenwände (4) und der einfachen Wanddicke der Vorderwand (11) und der Rückwand (14) entspricht. Am Steg (21) sind im Bereich der Seitenwände (4) und der Vorderwand (11) in definierten Abständen Rastausnehmungen (22, 24) ausgeformt. In diese Rastausnehmungen (22, 24) greifen aus der Ebene (13) der unteren Querschnittsfläche der Seitenwände (4) und der Vorderwand (11) entsprechend ausgeformte Gegenrasten (12, 43) halternd ein.
