Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0684187A1] The pourer neck (5) is mounted on the end of a flexible spout (6) which can be retracted inside the container (2) or pulled out in a deployed position for pouring, and is closed by a cap (11). The neck has an inner seal (15) which is connected to it by a zone (16) of reduced resistance and is equipped with a projecting cylinder (17) which has a threaded outer surface to engage with a matching inner surface on a cylinder (9) projecting inwards from the cap (11). The threaded surfaces of the two cylinders are left-handed, so that when the cap is unscrewed the threaded joint tightened, and one sufficient force is applied to it the zone of reduced resistance breaks and the seal and cap can be removed. <IMAGE>
